Jack Klatt is a singer, songwriter, seasoned traveler, and a dexterous finger-style guitarist. Combining musical traditions from hokum blues to the roots of country music, he has been crisscrossing the lower 48, spreading his brand of American music. He was chosen for Dayttrotter’s list of best songs in 2014 and has shared the stage with Pokey LaFarge, Wayne “the train” Hancock, Charlie Parr and the Cactus Blossoms. Rift Magazine calls him “one helluva guitarist” and a “clever lyricist” to boot. He has three records out, and another on the way, soon to be released this winter.

“Love Me Lonely is a must buy for fans of Americana and true folk music.”
Ear To The Ground
“clever, ragtime flavored tunes and he’s one helluva guitarist to boot. Great songs with witty lyrics and when he’s taking a break from a hard luck troubadour’s verse, he’s tickling our ears with fancy fingerpicking and note flying.”
Rift Magazine
“Jack doesn’t rely on other writers for his diversity, he can write in pretty much any musical style of his choosing.”
American Roots UK
“Young, retro barroom-blues/folk picker Jack Klatt isn’t just influenced by some of the greats of Minneapolis’ West Bank music scene, he’s actually playing with some of them.”
Star Tribune
“If you ever wanted a John Steinbeck character to crawl from his novel and take up the life of a traveling musician, then Jack Klatt is your man.”
