Our Weekly Open mic followed by a special performance by Sex Funeral, an experamental Jazz Duo. open mic 7-9, followed by jazz.
Iowa duo Sex Funeral is touring the midwest in August in support of recent releases on 5CM Recordings and Personal Archives. Matt Crowe (drums, percussion) and Bob Bucko Jr (tenor sax, guitar) perform improvised sets they refer to as ‘duo exchanges’, taking cues from everything from jazz to grindcore to Italian film scores.
