The Lords of Liechtenstein is a quirky folk music duo composed of two brothers. Based in New York City, Noah (ukulele/guitar/vocals) and Dan (guitar/banjo/mandola/vocals) have brought their unique blend of folk music to clubs and coffeehouses all over the East Coast of the United States. The Lords have performed on NPR’s acclaimed Mountain Stage radio show, were awarded honorable mention in the 2014 Falcon Ridge Folk Festival Emerging Artist Showcase, and have opened for musical stalwarts like Brett Dennen, Buckwheat Zydeco, Elephant Revival, and Aztec Two-Step. Their newest album, Oh, Hello Sweetie Pie is as diverse as it is long, its fifteen songs exploring topics ranging from wrongful incarceration to the unfair persecution of movie monsters. Now that you know a bit about the band, isn’t it time that you pulled on your sweater vest and listened to the future of folk music?
We did NOT give the following people huge castles in Liechtenstein in exchange for their praise:

“They are like The Everly Brothers with an attitude.” – Mark Miller, Artistic Director, Urban H2O

“An interesting cross-pollination of Simon and Garfunkel and They Might Be Giants, perhaps with a dash of The Smothers Brothers” – Bill Lynch, Charleston Gazette-Mail

“Don’t let the argyle sweater vests fool you, these two young men have something to say and sing about.”
– Kathy Sands-Boehmer, Everything Sundry Music Blog

“These brothers are really good songwriters and performers. But thing that really grabbed me was the oh so tight harmony and particularly the timing unison of their voices. It is the best I have heard since the Everly Brothers who set the bar.”
– Keith O’Conner Murphy, Member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, Grammy Voting Member of the Recording Academy, Voting Member of the Country Music Association

“They are to argyle sweater vests what Michael Jackson was to white gloves.” – Kevin Coughlin, MorristownGreen.com
